Ari Babaknia, M.D. Founder & Chairman
Dr. Babaknia completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital (1974-1977) where he was the Chief Resident (1977-1978), followed by a two-year fellowship in reproductive medicine at the University of California in San Diego (1978-1980). Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Babaknia has published five books, three of which are in the field of reproductive health. He also has authored or co-authored more than 40 clinical and research articles in the same field in peer review journals, such as The American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Journal of Reproductive Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fertility and Sterility, The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, The Western Medical Journal, The Human Reproduction, The Human Molecular Reproduction, Frontiers in Biosciences, and National Institute Health Reports (NIH) Dr. Babaknia built a thriving private practice in Orange County, California in women's health, and served as the Medical Director of California Reproductive Institute in Orange County since 1980. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the North American Menopause Society, and a Fellow of American College of OB/GYN and California Medical Association. Dr. Babaknia also served on the scientific steering committee in the reproductive health branch of NIH (1996-2000). Currently, Dr. Babaknia is devoting his time entirely to the development of DrSoy Nutrition. Through his medical practice, Dr. Babaknia noticed a trend with most of his pre- and post-menopausal patients who desired a natural alternative to hormone replacement therapy.
